Air Ticket Allowance in UAE Labor law
Although air ticket allowance is not a right, under certain circumstances an employee is eligible for an air ticket allowance in UAE. HR Practitioners need to know what UAE labor laws say about this issue.
Article 131 of UAE labor law provides that an employer provide expenses for repatriation of an employee to his place of origin or any other place agreed upon by both parties after the end of his contract or termination of his service.

Upon expiry of the employment contract, and the company doesn’t have the intention to renew the contract, the company should provide an air ticket to the employee’s home country or to any other place agreed upon. The law provides that the last employer should meet the repatriation expenses.

when an employer terminates an employee, the employer is required to provide a one-way air to their home country which is defined in the contract. If you get fired from a job, you are entitled to an air ticket back home.
If an employer fails to pay for repatriation expenses they can be forced to pay by way of attachment.

How much is the leave salary in UAE?
Article 75 of UAE labor law, stipulated how employers should calculate the leave salary. The leave salary is based on the period the employee has been working in that company.
An employee should receive two-day leave for every month worked if he/she has been working for more than six months but less than a year.
Employees should receive a 30-day annual leave if they have been working for the same company for more than one year.
